Ljubljana (Slovenia); June 29th - July 2nd 2023

The Salient conference takes place in beautiful Ljubljana every summer. It is an interdisciplinary youth conference, enabling critical dialogue among young professionals and fostering practical skills for addressing 21st century challenges.

Lisbon (Portugal); Sep 6 - Sep 10, 2023

The LisboMUN Association- Lisbon Model United Nations – is an association without lucrative purpose that focuses on the promotion of debate on the international agenda and MUN culture in Portugal, the first in Portugal with this goal. Founded in 2016 by a foreign student in Portugal, the association also has as its objectives the education of its memebers on questions of civic nature, effective communitcation, globalisation and multilateral diplomacy.

Valletta (Malta); To be announced

The Malta Model United Nations Society is the first official organisation of its kind in Malta. It commits itself primarily to training and preparing youths to attend and actively participate in Model United Nations conferences abroad. It does so by means of various events throughout the year that aid participants to hone various skills: public speaking, speech-writing, debating, negotiation and compromise.

The KU Leuven Model United Nations Student Association or KULMUN vzw, is a student association that offers Model United Nations training’s and simulations to both Flemish and international students of the KU Leuven.

In 2002, BIMUN/SINUB e. V. was founded by students of Bonn University with the goal to hold an annual Model United Nations conference.

Oxord (UK); To be announced

​The Oxford International Model United Nations conference (OxIMUN) is Europe’s premier Model United Nations conference. Held in the historic city of Oxford, OxIMUN brings together delegates from different countries and backgrounds to debate pressing global issues, listen to illustrious guest speakers and partake in exceptional social events. Delegates are promised an academically rigorous and culturally rich experience that is unlike any other.

UABMUN (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona Model United Nations) is a three days international MUN for university students held in Barcelona. With its special location, Barcelona is a unique location for international students to come together.

KIIT International MUN has been hosting a chain of successful editions since its inception in 2013. Having established the stronghold in its debut edition, KIIT MUN has been able to uphold the calibre of its diplomats and its commitment to making an impact, and ever since, the event has been setting a benchmark a little higher with every edition.

This association of Institute Of Intercultural Communication And Management students aims to host international students interested in geopolitics in order to hold activities of interest and a yearly MUN conference in French.

Madrid (Spain); to be announced

UAMIMUN is the Model United Nations Society of the Autonomous University, based at its Law Faculty. Founded in 2012, it has hosted more than 170 students with very different backgrounds, but with a shared interest in current international affairs, politics and debating. Among other activities, it trains and sends delegations to various MUN conferences, organizes visits to institutions, provides training in public speaking, negotiation and organizes forums on recurring international topics. UAMIMUN participates in MUN conferences throughout Madrid, Spain and the rest of the globe. It also hosts its own conference, AUMUN, in October.

MiMUN (Madrid International Model United Nations) is the United Nations Model of the Camilo José Cela University, which held its first edition in October 2015. This project is led by a group of students and teachers with extensive experience in Model United Nations.

The LouvainMUN experience seeks to complement higher education in a unique team environment.  Throughout the academic year, weekly intensive training sessions, guest lectures and workshops in English equip LouvainMUN members with the necessary tools to improve knowledge, understanding and critical thinking about global issues and diplomacy while boosting both personal growth and professional profile through the acquisition of highly valuable soft skills including:

MUNers Across Borders (MAB) is a youth-led NGO that aims to bridge young minds and cultivate cross-border cooperation and understanding around youth involvement at the UN and in the international community. We promote the values and work of the United Nations in the international arena and represent the voice of young diplomats expressing tomorrow’s opinions on global issues. Our main goal is to bring together all MUNers and interested youth on an internationally recognised UN day to celebrate United Nations simulations on March 18th every year. We hope to call this ‘World Model UN Day’!

​Our young association aims to simulate the main United Nations´organs and committees. Extracurricular activities are essential for the education of the students and there is no better way than simulating as a learning method. Our programme, apart from the week lessons, we also organize dynamic talks about a certain issue related to the UN, given by experts of the field. The MUN experience is enriching for the participants as for the organizers.

Hamburg (Germany); 7th-10th December 2023

HanseMUN e.V. was founded in 1996 with the goal to introduce students of University Hamburg to the way of working and the principals of the UN, as well as to strengthen the consciousness for global challenges.

During the semester, we offer “Monday Sessions”. Here, once a week, a council of the UN is being simulated. We also organise the HamMUN conference which is one of the biggest and well known MUN-conferences in Europe.

Zaragoza (Spain); To be announced

MUNIZAR is organized by ACMUNDI (Asociación Caesaraugusta para el Modelo de Naciones Unidas y el Derecho Internacional), whose main aim is fostering the knowledge about International Law and the active participation of students in issues with a global scope.

The topics are diverse, from humanitarian conflicts to economic and social matters. So, it is a great opportunity for any student who wants to investigate about essential questions to understand the society and the world in which we live.

NebrijaMUN is a first-rate learning school. Students develop public speaking and debate skills, study foreign policy, as well as the protocol and procedures of the United Nations and, by extension, intergovernmental organizations in general. Furthermore, and no less important, they develop not only academic but also personal ties with their peers and with the students of the Universities in which they compete.
